Corbella: exhibition has deep roots in the international scenario

Today marks the opening of a new IPACK-IMA in which exhibitors have put their best efforts, as stressed by president Barilla. It clearly shows the exhibition’s deep roots in both the Italian and international scenario. As organizers, we have done our best and we are very proud of what we have accomplished; we are also aware of our responsibility deriving from exhibitors’ expectations towards IPACK-IMA, which we are fully prepared to meet.

From pioneering frontiers described in astronaut Paolo Nespoli’s account to basic solutions providing crucial contribution to the resolution of the food crisis in Africa, discussed on Thursday at the International UN Conference: the very top packaging and food processing technology goes on stage at IPACK-IMA. The exhibition features the participation of 50 delegates selected by Unido as well as 100 global buyers picked out by the Italian Trade Commission (ICE). The Commission is a key institution in Italy and we believe it is a valuable and highly strategic partner, even in the absence of public funding.

The exhibition opens its gates with over one third of total exhibitors coming from outside of Italy and we are expecting visitors from every corner of the world. We are also looking to the future and to IPACK-IMA’s upcoming involvement in the great global showcase of the EXPO 2015, held in conjunction with the next edition of the exhibition. I send everyone my best wishes for a successful exhibition and excellent business at IPACK-IMA.

Guido Corbella
Ipack-Ima Spa CEO
